Before we work together, please read the following expectations. These help ensure our sessions are productive and respectful for both of us.
1. Tutoring Agreement Prior to accepting you as a client, you will need to agree to the tutoring contract, found [here]. Some of its key points are also outlined below.
2. Active Learning I practice active learning. I am not here to do your homework, I'm here to help you understand the material. I expect you to attempt assignments before our session and come prepared to discuss where you got stuck and why.
3. Come Prepared Bring your notes, textbook, assignments, or any relevant materials to each session. The more context you give me, the more I can help.
4. Respect Each Other's Time Please arrive on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 2-12 hours notice. I don't charge fees for cancellations, but if it's a recurring problem I may choose to discontinue our sessions.
5. Communication If you're struggling between sessions, reach out. I'm happy to answer quick questions over email or text, but extended help outside of sessions is not included.
6. Progress Takes Effort I can guide you, but I can't learn for you. Students who come consistently and put in the work between sessions see the best results.
